BMLC begins online admission process on 01/08/21

After announcement of class 12th results by CBSE and RBSE, BMLC has started with its online admission process for Five Year Integrated Law courses – B.A.LL.B. and B.B.A.LL.B. The process began on 31st July 2021 and 60-60 seats are available in both courses. This will be the fourth batch of BMLC. To take admission, students must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in 12th board examination. BMLC proudly stated that the previous three batches have given incredible results. One of the students also make it to the University Merit List. Admission guidelines are available on www.bmlc.in.

Visit by District and Sessions Judge, Jodhpur on 01/08/21

Shri Ravindra Kumar Joshi paid an unofficial visit to BM Law College, Jodhpur. He was welcomed by Dr. Abhay Purohit.

In the visit, he was made aware of all the facilities available at BMLC by the Director Dr. VS Vyas. It was informed that online classes are being held by highly qualified faculty along with other co-curricular activities such as moot court competitions, debate competitions, youth parliaments, open house discussions, lectures on hot topics by visiting faculty, court visits, internships etc. learning is not limited to the books and proper practical training is being provided for overall personality development of the students.

He also took a tour of the campus and appreciated the infrastructural facilities such as the well-furnished and air conditioned classrooms, state of the art moot court hall, well equipped library and e library facilities, along with on campus Wi-Fi services and access to online legal database, smart class rooms, games room, open ground, canteen area and common room for boys and girls.

In response to his visit, Shri Ravindra Kumar Joshi stated that the college is providing high quality education through all means and facilities and showered his best wishes for a bright legal future of its students.

Online Orientation Programme on 04/11/20

BMLC organised an online orientation programme through virtual platform for its new batch of 2020. All the new students, faculty and other staff members were available in the programme. Students were warmly welcomed by the Director Dr. VS Vyas. He made the students aware that the college has high quality educational, training and research facilities. Students were informed about the job prospects available to them once they pass out from their course. Online classes for the new batch also have begun successfully.

YouthParliament organised

BMLC organised a 2-day Youth parliament event. The motive of this event was the make the students aware of the country’s contemporary political scenario and express their opinion on how they can bring about a change in the country’s situation. The chief guests for the event were Col. Mr. Rajeev Anand and Adv. Mr.AvinChhangani. It was organised under the guidance of Mr. Dinesh Kumar Ranga, Secretary, Managing Committee.

Two committees were formed in the event – All India Political Parties Meet, the topic of discussion for which was Article 370 of the Indian Constitution. Second was a Lok Sabha Committee, the topuc of discussion for which was one nation one poll.

Moot Court Competition held

BMLC held the first edition of its moot court competition. It witnessed a healthy debate of laws between students. It was adjudged by Hon’ble Judge Mr. G.K. Vyas and Adv. Mr. Kapil Purohit. Student submitted both oral and written submissions. It was a great practice for students to get a hold of the practical scenario inside the actual courts. BMLC proudly informed that its students in future will participate in both national and international moot court events.
