RULES OF CONDUCT

ATTENDANCE

The colleges mandates 75% attendance to appear for End Semester Examinations. This needs to be followed strictly. Regular updates of absentees will be sent to the parents of the students via SMS. Non-compliance of the same would invite action as per the college disciplinary policies.

DISCIPLINARY RULES

Students are required to attend classes regularly and diligently and comply with the attendance policies.

Arriving to the class on time and staying until the class is dismissed. Non-compliance can lead to absent marking.

Students shall compulsorily wear the prescribed college uniform on all working days except Wednesday.

Ragging is banned on college campus. It is a punishable offence. Anyone found guilty of ragging or abetting to ragging is liable to be punished as per the directions of the UGC and the Government. Any such incidents will be dealt with seriously.

Every student must obtain on admission, the Identity Card which must have his/her photograph attested and wear the identity card on person whenever he/she is on the college premises and present it for inspection on demand.

Smoking and consumption of alcohol on the College premises or entering the college premises, after consuming alcoholic drinks is strictly prohibited.

Students found using unfair means at examinations will be dealt with seriously. Actions will be initiated against such students as per the norms and procedure prescribed by the University.

In case of rustication of grounds of using unfair means in examination, such student will not be re admitted.

Disciplinary action will be taken against students found carrying and/or using cell phones, pagers, digital watch, Walkman, discman, ipods etc., on the college premises.

Matters not covered by the above rules will rest at the absolute discretion of the Director.
